Item details

This cute but fierce cross stitch pattern features an adorable T Rex silhouette covered in pink and blue flowers, speaking a comic bubble message of love.

Your completed pattern will measure approx. 3 inches by 3 inches (7.5cm x 7.5cm) and would look lovely in a square frame, or a 4 or 5 inch embroidery hoop.

The pattern uses 10 colours and is best stitched onto 14 count white aida cloth. I recommend this pattern for an advanced beginner, as it features only whole stitches and a few backstitches, but the distribution is quite scattered and non-linear. Stitchers who are just starting out may find themselves getting lost. (I did a couple of times!) If this is your first project, check out my FAQs for links to some super-helpful how-to videos!

Please note, this is for a PDF download of the pattern, and not a physical product. The pattern file will be available after cleared payment for immediate download, along with a DMC and Anchor embroidery floss colour legend. Due to variations in screen resolution and printers, colours may vary from those displayed, however the floss colour itself is beautiful together. Unfortunately I am not able to offer refunds on digital download purchases.

FAQs

For those new to cross stitch, I recommend this video tutorial from Yarn Tree to learn the full cross (the most basic, X looking one) and backstitch (the lines): http://youtu.be/mr_LfGr1v0E My favourite french knot tutorial (the one I learned on!) is from fellow cross stitch pattern-maker, Wee Little Stitches: http://youtu.be/M6HHmMPV3vE When starting a stitch using an even number of threads, I prefer the easy and time saving loop method. This was a really fun cross stitch to do! I'm a beginner and it took me a few evening to finish. It now has pride of place on my wall.
