Difficulty level: ADVANCED (WE ARE NOT KIDDING. This kit sucks. It really sucks. The last ring is so hard to put in, you will bust through your arsenal of expletives so fast it will make your children cry themselves to sleep. BUT IT IS DOABLE. I have made each and every one of these several times, and beta tested them with my students as well. I always mangle 3 rings before I can get that last one in, but is IS doable! So don't say I didn't warn you)
Each kit includes a step-by-step digital pdf tutorial (will be emailed to you), and all the materials needed to create one medallion (necklace chain not included). This kit is made with a mix of 16swg and 18swg stainless steel rings and is very crazy insanely tight.
Measures just over 1.5 inches across
-- Looking to expand your chainmaille skills with a little bit of scale mail? Look no further!
This kit includes a SMALL size of Steampunk Garage's original "Scalemail Turbine" pendant design made with our original laser-cut steel scales!
The kit comes with your choice of black steel or feather-light titanium scales (colors will change based on availability), a single welded steel ring for the frame, and all the rings required to complete a single pendant. In addition, a PDF step-by-step tutorial will be emailed to you.
Please note that the titanium is mottled in color which is what makes these so friggin beautiful when they're done. They are shown in the last picture.
There is no necklace chain included.

---------------- The flat steel scales are our original design! We drew them out and had them laser-cut at a local machine shop here in California. You won't find them being sold by anyone else anywhere.
