I ship USPS First Class Parcel Post all over the world, and I combine shipping to save you money. Proofs are usually sent within a day or two of payment, and shipping is usually within a week. This can vary depending on work volume, please contact me before ordering if you need an item in a hurry! Upgrades to priority or express shipping are available at your expense, please contact me for a custom listing.

Please watch for your proof for your custom stamp in your Etsy account under "Conversations", I do not send proofs to your email account. I am not set up to hold orders for more than a few days, if i do not hear back from you on your custom proof in 5 days, I will consider it approved and ship it.

I don't provide tracking unless it's requested and paid for by the customer at the time of the order, it's not necessary in 99% of the items I ship and it's not worth the expense and paperwork to put it on each package. I ship the old fashioned way by putting the address on the package and taking it to the post office, so tracking is $0.75 more per package and the time associated with keeping track of all of the slips would greatly increase shipping cost to every customer for the 1% of packages that are lost in the mail.
Your stamps are lovingly stuffed into a kraft bubble mailer and placed, with aplomb*, into the mailing bucket. While I don't do anything frilly I do include a free little gift in every package which I hope makes up for the lack of tags, ribbons and tissue paper. Gift wrapping is available upon request and at extra cost.
I ship all packages via USPS First Class mail unless USPS Priority or Express is requested and paid for by the customer.
Packages are shipped from Rockford IL after 4:30 pm on our production days which are usually Mon-Wed-Fri.

I process orders in the order they were received, please give adequate time, and I appreciate your patience and understanding. I provide rush service when requested, there is a rush fee of $20 to ensure that your paid order ships on the next possible production day, (usually M-W-F). This fee is non refundable. This fee is for me to stop what I am doing and work on your proofs, and to guarantee that your order ships in the very next batch. I strongly recommend that you also choose priority shipping or express guaranteed shipping - contact me for custom quote and listing.
Arrival at your destination is usually pretty fast, but I have no control over the postal service. If your package has not arrived in 21 days (within the USA) or 35 days (international) from the date it was shipped, please notify me for replacement. I do not refund for lost/delayed or damaged items. I must be notified within 90 days of purchase that the package was lost or damaged for replacement.
Please note that international buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
I DO NOT under any circumstances ship via any other carrier for orders under $1000.
I recycle packaging materials. Packing materials and stamps are not guaranteed allergen free.
My stamps have been dusted with baby powder. That white powder is safe for a baby's bottom, simply wash it off before you use your stamps.
* Just in case you searched your package and did not find it; aplomb - n. Self-confident assurance; poise.
I prefer paypal. I will also accept money orders, and checks from US banking institutions, and interac email money transfers from a Canadian bank. Contact me via Etsy Convo for cash payment instructions in any currency adjusted for the exchange on the day of the sale. I am also open to *some* trades, I trade retail dollar for dollar.
Returns & exchanges
In the event that you change your mind after ordering, or notice that my stated shipping times will not work for your needs, I will be more than happy to issue a full shop credit in the form of a gift certificate provided the item has not been proofed.
Please see my shipping policies concerning items that do not arrive on time. Under no circumstances is a refund given for late items. I ship via USPS First Class mail, other methods are available if requested and paid for by the customer.
A handy tip for last minute gift giving - you have my permission to print the proof that I send to you (once you have ordered and paid) and include it in a greeting card, with an "it's on its way" message. This is the only permissible use for proofs that are sent for approval purposes unless express consent is given and licensing agreed upon.
I will gladly replace defective stamps*, sometimes errors can get past me. Please take a photo or scan the stamp impression to show me what the problem is. Occasionally I may ask that you return the stamp to me if the problem cannot be determined by the a photo, or you are unable to send an image. If the stamp is defective I will refund the cost to ship it back to me (up to $3.50) in addition to replacing your stamp. Stamping takes some skill when you first get started, so please read my profile for tips and tricks to troubleshoot before you contact me for a possible defect.
* Replacement is with an identical stamp, if a layout change is needed a new stamp must be purchased.
*** Puppy chewed stamp? Lost stamp? Toddler put stamp down the garbage disposal? Aliens abducted it? I'll remake an identical stamp for you at a discounted price since part of the cost is layout and proof time and the work is already done. Please convo me for details.
Custom stamp layout proofs are sent for approval before manufacture, please look closely to make sure that the information on it is correct, there is no return on custom items except when there is a manufacturing defect.
• PROOFS •
One proof is included with your purchase of a custom stamp and I make reasonable changes as necessary to it, sending a new proof when needed (I don't send proofs for minor font, spelling or punctuation changes). If you would like to see multiple simultaneous font/layout choices laid out side by side, the fee for this (non refundable) is $5 for each proof beyond the first. There is no charge for reasonable changes to your initial proof, however I reserve the right to charge a fee for design changes that go beyond a reasonable limit. Please browse my catalog thoroughly before you choose a design and look to www.dafont.com to choose a free font if you wish and include this information when you order.
The proofs that I send are low resolution for approval purposes only and no permission is granted for any reproduction or use whatsoever. It is a foul practice to take my work and have it made into a stamp or business card (or anything else) with another vendor without my consent (consent is usually given for products other than stamps if you ask, sometimes there are limitations I have to abide by with the licensed art I use). While I can't catch you doing it, please know that I have cursed your armpits with the fleas of a thousand ferrets. A THOUSAND. Just don't do it.
• NO FREE SAMPLES •
When I first started out in this line of work I did a lot of samples and proofs before getting payment, and although I will work on the design until the customer loves it, I had many people who simply did not follow through to order, and I ended up wasting my time. I suspect that some went elsewhere with my design ideas to get a cheaper stamp, or in one case a customer wrote back after 3 or 4 revisions to her design to tell me that she didn't need a stamp, she printed stickers at home. I work 18 hours a day most days a week and I simply can't do it, if my thousands of feedback and hundreds of catalog designs aren't enough to inspire confidence in my skills, putting my time in without a paid order is not going to either. Its not you, and its not the majority of people, but it was enough of a frustration for me to make it a policy.
