*****Even though packages being shipped via USPS Priority Mail already includes a base insurance amount of $100, if your package value exceeds $100, you still need to select an insurance amount equal to the TOTAL COVERAGE you need. For example, if your Priority Mail package is valued at $145.00, you would still need to select "100.01 up to 200.00" from the drop-down menu (and NOT "$0.01 up to $50.00").

To add insurance coverage (or to insure a Priority Mail package for more than $100.00), please choose one of the options from the drop-down menu above that represents the TOTAL INSURANCE COVERAGE you desire (whether or not your package is shipping via Priority Mail):

FAQs

If what you want isn't offered in one of my listings, PLEASE CONVO ME about a custom order. I'd be happy to make something similar for you. Pretty much all of my listings are customizable. However, if you would like to make a change / addition to an existing listing and there is no option for what you want listed in the item description, please send me a message/convo ***FIRST***. I might need to set you up with your own special custom listing (which is easy!). If you have an idea about making something else totally different, I accept custom orders as well. Just send me a message/convo. Please don't request additions to an existing order after payment. Extra stamping usually costs extra, so start with a custom request instead.

I do *not* stamp on both the front & back of any single penny or dime. Stamping on one side causes a slight "smudge" in the metal on the opposite side (because the metal is soft). If you stamp on both sides of the coin, one side of the stamped characters ends up slightly distorted. The only way to avoid this is to stamp the characters *very* lightly (i.e., not stamped very deeply), which means they don't show up very well, even when darkened in. Thanks for understanding.

Handmade Takes Time. Production time for each item is listed in the item's description (Item Details tab) AND under the Shipping tab. (These tabs must be clicked to open if using a Smart Phone.) Production time is how long it takes to create your item BEFORE shipping. Each item is handmade TO ORDER, except for the few items marked "ready to ship" (https://www.etsy.com/shop/amysuecrafts?search_query=ready+to+ship). Production time does not include weekends or holidays. If you need something made faster than the stated production time, please message/convo me about RUSH Production options, availability, & fees. During busy times, RUSH production may not be available. And some items are not able to be rushed due to how they are made.

Please refer to the above FAQ for info. on production time (how long it takes to MAKE your item). After your item is created, it ships by USPS. Most items include the option to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail shipping (2-3 days typical delivery), which is faster than regular shipping. Regular shipping can take 3-7 days AFTER your item is made. Priority Mail is faster (2-3 days typically), but it isn't USPS guaranteed. All of my custom hand-stamped items are made TO ORDER at the time you place the order. Custom hand-stamped items are not pre-made ahead of time, so they can be customized to your requested personalization. All hand-stamped items are stamped by me, by hand, with a hammer, one letter/number/character at a time. Spacing between, and depth of, letters, numbers, characters, hearts, etc., may vary slightly within and between items. These small variations add to the charm and unique nature of each piece. They are not imperfections. My items are not engraved by machine. They are lovingly stamped BY HAND by me (Amy). Hand-stamping is deeper than engraving, too. My items are rustic and natural, not perfect. No two pieces will ever be identical!

Once an item is shipped, you will receive an Etsy convo with the shipping date and USPS Tracking™ information to help determine roughly when your package will arrive. USPS Tracking™ is not insurance. USPS insurance coverage is available and offered for every item. If you choose not to insure a package & it is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, no refund options are available from USPS or from me. AmySueCrafts is not responsible if you have entered the wrong/old shipping address on your order and the order gets shipped out prior to you notifying me of the incorrect address. Please double-check you address during Checkout. If there is an error, please contact me ASAP so I can make corrections prior to shipping.

AmySueCrafts is not responsible for packages lost or returned to me due to the wrong shipping address being given at Checkout. Items returned to me as undeliverable/wrong address will require payment of additional shipping costs to be reshipped.

AmySueCrafts ships via the United States Postal Service (USPS), usually as USPS First Class Mail Parcel or as USPS Priority Mail. All orders are shipped with USPS Tracking™; no exceptions. Without tracking, AmySueCrafts has no proof of shipping. Please review an item's description for additional details.

AmySueCrafts does NOT ship by First Class Mail Letter, as it does NOT include the option of USPS Tracking™. In addition, items by AmySueCrafts are not flat, so they do not meet the criteria to fit in a flat piece of mail for shipping.

I cannot guarantee a delivery/arrival date for your order because USPS delivery times vary. According to www.usps.com, "delivery within 2-3 business days in most cases" can be expected for First Class Mail Parcels. I personally would expect delivery within 4-7 days of shipment, just to be on the conservative side based on current trends.

AmySueCrafts does NOT ship internationally at this time.

***Please do not place an order that needs to arrive to you in less than a week without contacting me ahead of time (to arrange, when possible, for expedited shipping and/or expedited order processing/creation).

If you need something to be shipped more quickly than standard First Class Mail Parcel, you can purchase a "shipping upgrade." The item will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail (1-3 day delivery, Mondays through Saturdays). Please consult with me PRIOR to your purchase if you need items delivered faster than via First Class Mail Parcel, although the upgrade to USPS Priority Mail is available during Checkout for most listings.

According to www.usps.com, "Priority Mail remains a non-guaranteed service. The Postal Service does not provide a money-back guarantee if items sent via Priority Mail fail to arrive by the scheduled delivery date." However, the only time I personally have experienced delays with Priority Mail was during severe snow/ice storms or other weather-related catastrophes.

Priority Mail shipping from Etsy includes up to $100 of insurance in the price. Additional insurance can be purchased, if desired. Again, please request additional insurance PRIOR to your purchase.

Order production/processing time (how long it takes me to make the item before it ships, for made-to-order/customizable listings) can be found in an item's description and/or in the "Shipping & Policies" tab within the item listing. "Ready to ship in 3-5 business days" means that production time will take 3-5 days, not including weekends or holidays, following receipt of cleared payment prior to the item being shipped. Therefore your item/order will ship up to 1 week AFTER your purchase (or longer, if during a holiday week).

Processing/production time begins only after CLEARED payment has been received. If paying through PayPal using an e-check (through your bank account), production of the item will not begin until the e-check has been cleared by PayPal, which can take 3-5 business days.

If you want to add custom stamping to an item but forget to specify all or part of the information regarding what to stamp or where to stamp it at checkout, I cannot be held responsible for processing/production delays caused by the attempt to contact you to get the missing information.

★ RUSH Order Processing Upgrade ★

If you need something to be created more quickly than the processing time outlined in the listing, you can purchase a "RUSH Order Processing Upgrade" (in many cases). Please consult with me PRIOR to your purchase if you need an item produced faster than the length of time specified in the listing.

A "RUSH Order Processing Upgrade" typically will result in a production time of 1-3 days (including weekends) for items that normally take 3-5 business days, as many jewelry items require adhesive curing time. Items not requiring adhesive curing time typically will be produced in 1-2 days (including weekends). For items that normally take 1-2 weeks for production time, a "RUSH Order Processing Upgrade" typically will result in a production time of 5-7 days (including weekends). Orders placed after 12noon (Eastern Time) will begin processing on the following day. If you need an item immediately, please convo me first.

Not all listings qualify for a "RUSH Order Processing Upgrade." Some items that do not qualify include marble tiles, marble tile coasters, photo tiles, vintage music-related items, or items handmade with resin. Please contact me if you have a question prior to purchasing a "RUSH Order Processing Upgrade."

Please be aware that purchasing a "RUSH Order Processing Upgrade" does NOT mean that your item will be shipped more quickly. If you also need faster delivery than standard First Class Mail, you will also need to purchase a "shipping upgrade." Please refer above to the "Shipping Upgrade" section.


★ Shipping Materials ★

I recycle everything... including shipping materials. Everything is carefully packaged, but I use things like torn up old telephone books, crumpled newspaper, recycled packing peanuts, paper from our home paper shredder, and recycled bubble wrap in packing my orders. I also re-use boxes & bubble envelopes, as long as they are in good/stable/clean condition. I even re-use bubble envelopes as padding inside my boxes to protect your items, when possible. This saves on my shipping costs, which means I can charge less for my items, but it is also good for the environment. Thanks for understanding!


Payments

I accept ALL major credit cards as well as PayPal and Etsy Gift Cards.

Payment is due at the time of purchase. Cleared payment must be received prior to work beginning on any order. No exceptions. (Sadly, I have had too many buyers request rush custom orders and then fail to pay, which ruins it for everyone.)

Please note, debit card payments and eCheck payments from bank accounts are also accepted via PayPal; however, production time on your item will *not* begin until the debit card or eCheck payment has cleared through PayPal (often 3-5 business days).

Please do not purchase an item and then request a custom change to the available item options (e.g., design, processing/creation time, shipping method, etc.). This may result in needing to cancel the order, issue a refund, and start over. I am more than happy to create custom orders; please just contact me *prior* to your purchase.


★ Custom & Personalized Items ★

➽ Where do I enter the initials/date/etc. for my personalized order?
On the Checkout screen there is a box for you to enter comments. Please provide me with your custom information there. (But if you forget to enter your custom details, you can send them to me via convo, too.) Here is a sample photo of what the Checkout screen looks like:

Custom and personalized orders cannot be returned unless the item is defective, not as described, or if I made an error in our agreed-upon personalization. Examples of custom & personalized orders include a specific year of penny with a heart stamped around your selected year, a pair of forks stamped with your wedding date, or any other purchase that requires me to set up a "custom order" link for you or where you tell me a date or initials or name to stamp.

Once paid for, custom and personalized orders cannot be cancelled prior to shipment. Purchasing the order is a contract. Production of the order can begin as soon as the payment is received. If there is an emergency, please convo me within 24 hours; I cannot guarantee that I will not have already started work on your order prior to receiving your message.

Please do not purchase an item and then request a custom change to the available item options (e.g., design, processing/creation time, shipping method, etc.). This may result in needing to cancel the order, issue a refund, and start over. I am more than happy to create custom orders; please just contact me *prior* to your purchase.

PLEASE carefully double-check any custom information you provide for me to stamp; I am not responsible for stamping the wrong wording/date/etc. if I am given incorrect information. Customized items cannot be returned.

Additional return information
If there is a problem with an order, please convo me so that we can work something out. Customer satisfaction is my ultimate goal. I want everyone to be pleased with their unique creations.

Custom/personalized orders CANNOT be returned. Please refer to the "Payment Policy -- Custom & Personalized Items" section.

If an AmySueCrafts item is damaged/broken after purchase due to misuse, improper handling/cleaning, or the attempt to alter the piece, it cannot be returned. If an item breaks due to a defect, please contact me immediately. Please also be prepared to provide me with photos of the damaged/broken item and to possibly return the item to me (at my cost, if determined to be a defect). I carefully test ALL items prior to shipping (i.e., I try to break them!). Your item should not break under normal use circumstances.

★ Refunds & Exchanges ★

If I made an error on your custom/personalized order based upon our agreed-upon customization terms, please contact me immediately so I can correct the error. If I require that you return the erroneous item, return shipping will be at my cost but must include all items and packaging that were originally shipped to you. At a minimum, digital photographs of the erroneous item will be required.

I am not responsible for incorrect items if I was provided with incorrect information on your order (e.g., in notes to seller, convos, drop-down box selections in listings, or "Comments" box at checkout). Please carefully check over the information you enter when ordering (including penny years, dates, spelling of names, polishing preferences, etc.).

Once your item arrives, if you are not satisfied with your non-custom / non-personalized order, AmySueCrafts will replace the item or refund the amount you paid to your PayPal account or credit card -- minus shipping/handling costs -- IF the item is returned to me undamaged, unused, and in its original packaging within 14 days of its original delivery to you. Refunds for items that have been shipped to you will be processed only after I receive the items back. If you need a replacement, I likewise will send a replacement once I receive the original item back.

Custom/personalized orders are non-refundable as described above.

Please contact me within 5 days of receipt of your order if you believe a refund or replacement is needed.

Please convo me prior to returning any item for an exchange or refund.

When returning an item, I highly recommend you send your package via USPS with USPS Tracking™ & with insurance coverage for the full amount of the purchase. I am not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

★ Hand-Stamping ★

Hand-stamping is an art. All hand-stamped pieces are handcrafted by ME. Spacing between, positioning of, and depth of, letters, numbers, hearts, etc., will vary slightly within and between items. These small variations add to the charm and unique nature of each piece. They are not imperfections. These items are rustic in nature. All efforts will be made to line words/etc. up in an appealing and decorative fashion, but I cannot promise to perfectly center something or to stamp it in a precise manner due to the nature of hand-stamping.

I carefully hand-stamp each character -- one at a time -- using a metal punch/stamp and a hammer. Therefore, no two pieces ever will be exactly the same due to the font/pattern used, the precise placement of each character, the character alignment, the depth of each impression, the stamp uniformity, AND the unique qualities of the item being stamped (e.g., vintage silverware). This adds to the character, charm, and uniqueness of the pieces. This is not engraving. Engraving is done with a machine, not by hand.

Some tool markings may be visible on the front as well as on the back of items. For example, stamped pennies tend to have slight "smudge" spots in the metal on the backs of the pennies from where the stamping was done on the front of the pennies. Some stamped vintage, silver-plated spoons will have small "smudges" or marks on the back of the spoon bowl behind where the stamping was done on the front of the spoon bowl.

★★★ I do ***NOT*** use INK, PAINT, or ENAMEL to darken in the stamped letters and characters on my hand-stamped gold-plated & silver-plated vintage flatware (spoons, forks, serving utensils, etc.). I use a FOOD-SAFE oxidation process. And my gold-plated flatware is NOT darkened in at all. Please refer to my listings for specific details. Health and safety are important to me.


★ Care Instructions for Your Handmade Item ★

✔ Avoid direct contact with lotion, oil, perfume/cologne, hairspray, sunscreen, and other chemicals (e.g., harsh detergents, household cleaners, bleach, alcohol, acids, grease, etc.)
✔ Avoid contact with water – do not shower OR swim with your keychains, pendants, jewelry, or other items created by AmySueCrafts; chlorine and other chemicals in water can damage, discolor, and/or destroy your handcrafted items
✔ In addition, keep resin-based items (e.g., music cufflinks, resin flower pendants, resin Christmas ornaments, etc.) away from extended exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures
✔ Silver-plated items will tarnish over time, as will coins, and will need polishing
✔ For vintage silverware, please refer to the care instructions included with your order
✔ If you have questions, please ask
