PDF SEWING PATTERN - PDF SEWING PATTERN - PDF SEWING PATTERN
I've partnered with the ladies at Hip Klips to bring you the Hip Klip Pocket Accessory pattern (size large - 7" x 5 3/4")! This is JUST the pattern. Klips sold separately. Please visit their website for information on purchasing Hip Klips: http://hipklips.com/store/
I've designed this pattern to be simple to make - and fast. With a little bit of practice, you'll have one done before you know it (like...in an hour)! The magic is how your fold and sew the fabric to the zipper (similar to my Pocket Pouch Purse Insert). There's a little bit of wiggle room when attaching the zippers, so don't worry if you don't get it exactly right.
You'll love this little bag! It includes two fully-lined zippered pockets (front) and one fully-lined slip pocket (back). This is designed to attach to your waistband with either a Hip Klip or to your belt loops with a caribiner.
This is the perfect little bag to keep you hands-free - at a party, a festival, or for an evening out!
This is a intermediate/confident beginner pattern. You'll need to be comfortable with:
Sewing a consistent 1/4" seam
Using a walking foot
Working with zippers
Attaching large eyelets
- one fat quarter or equivalent
- two zippers
- two large eyelets
- walking foot and 1/4" foot
- two Hip Klips or caribiners

On occasion, my cat(s) hang out with me. Although I keep things clean/neat, a stray cat hair might show up on your pillow cover and/or bag tag. But other than that, there are no funky smells or weird things to worry about.
