Item details

Blue Tit in flight. This lovely little bird is stitched onto cream linen using free motion embroidery and appliquéd with recycled fabric, i then finish with hand stitching. and displayed in a 7" embroidery hoop.

I created these little works of art to show the beauty and movement of the wings in flight.
The reverse of the hoop is finished with another layer of linen then edged with contrasting ribbon.

Each time I re-create this item is is slightly different and entirely unique.

I try hard to ensure that all my work is finished to the highest possible quality. If however you are unhappy with or find fault with an item let me know and I will repair or replace it as soon as possible. I frequently use raw-edged fabric in my work which may gently fray over time, however this is deliberate and adds to the look of the item. The nature of my work means that each and every item is unique and may from time to time slightly differ from the photographs shown.
