Fabulous heavy durable unique fabric panel to be creative with and make things like bags, belts, table cloth, table mats, cushions, coasters, quilting, upholstery, or keep it as it is and use it as a wall hanging, a chair covering or to sit on at the beach! there are lots of possibilities.

The screen printed pattern is placed so there is a border of plain fabric going round it. This unique advantage will make any handmade bag, hobo bag, handbag, purse, make up bag, cushion cover or another craft project strikingly unique. This fabric works very well with other patterned fabrics, faux suede or faux antique leather.

This fabric is a heavy weight cotton 350gsm hand dyed with bright yellow procion MX fibre reactive dye. Hand printed using a hand made silk screen press with white and a purple water based screen printing ink. Both hand dyeing and hand printing processes can create varying shades of colour making every fabric piece unique and one of a kind.

The fabric is 89cm x 79cm (35 inches x 31 inches)
The print size is 38cm x 30cm (15inches x 12 inches) X 4 prints on this piece of fabric.

The dye and the pattern:
Procion MX Fibre reactive dyes form a bond with the molecules of the fabric and becomes part of the fibre molecule. This ensures a permanency of the colour. The pattern design started as drawings which a worked on in illustrator. I made 2 silk screens one for each colour using photographic emulsion technique.

Slight variations can occur when printing and dyeing making individual piece of fabric unique. I do my best to reflect the actual color in the photos however, computer monitors vary so colors may show slight variations in person.
Using Pantone color bridge uncoated color chart, the colours are similar too:
Yellow: 107U
Pink: 226U
Green: 7467UP

Care instructions:
The dye is set deep into the fibres of the fabric and the screen printing ink is heat set ensuring the colours will not run when wet. It is advised to wash with like colours for first couple of washes on a low temperature setting. Can be steamed and ironed. Do not use bleach. Allow for possible shrinkage as the fabric is made from natural cotton.
