Vintage 1943 Knitting Pattern - Ladies Lacy Bed Jacket - 36 inch bust - digital download
I put all sizing in the descriptions if the pattern gives it. A lot of vintage knitting patterns of the early to mid-century tend to only give one size. For more information about how to knit larger sizes, please see my blog article: https://sleepingontheedgeofsleep.wordpress.com/2015/09/17/how-to-knit-larger-with-vintage-knitting-patterns/
Please see images for the pattern details which includes the type of yarn. Vintage knitting patterns are usually knitted in 3-ply unless otherwise specified. I recommend Susan Crawford's Fenella yarns, which are a 2-ply that knits like a vintage 3-ply yarn: https://susancrawfordvintage.com/collections/fenella
A free conversion chart for yarns, needles sizes and knitting terms comes with each knitting pattern. The conversion chart can also be found here on my blog: https://sleepingontheedgeofsleep.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/knitting-needle-conversion-chart.pdf
Yarn amounts are given in ounces (oz) rather than stating the amount of balls/skeins needed. An average ball/skein of yarn is 50 grams which equals approx 1.7 oz.
Please feel free to knit and sell garments knitted from patterns bought from me. I'm always interested in seeing the finished garment. The patterns themselves are not for resale.
