Cute ladies woven knicker SEWING PATTERN with peek-a-boo lace inserts.
Pretty, girlie and just a little bit sexy, the PEEK-A-BOO PANTIES include front lace inserts and are designed to sit low on the waist with full bottom coverage.
The sewing pattern is available in Australian sizes 8-14. For international customers a size conversion chart can be found on my blog www.themakersjournal.blogspot.com
Size 8 - Waist 63cm, Hip 93cm
Size 10 - Waist 68cm, Hip 98cm
Size 12 - Waist 73cm, Hip 103cm
Size 14 - Waist 78cm, Hip 108cm
I made the photo sample from a soft cotton voile. This pattern has been developed for lightweight woven fabrics and I recommend printed cotton voile or silk cotton blends; small scale prints work best. For the gusset I used a light and stretchy tricot lining normally used for swimwear. Choose a lightweight soft lace between 3.25 and 5cm in width, laces with shaped edges are ok so long as the minimum width at any point is at least 3.25cm.
I print my SEWING PATTERNS onto 100% recycled paper and then vacuum pack the contents to minimise it's impact on our precious world.
This pattern includes.....
- Step by step sewing instructions
- Detailed diagrams to help you along the way
- A small fabric swatch to guide you when selecting your fabric
- The layplan which shows you how to arrange the pattern on the fabric, and
- A list of notions you will need and the fabric requirements
*Fabric and other notions are not included with this pattern

This pattern is suitable for an average sewer and will take only a few hours to complete. Skills required include straight stitching, zig-zag stitch, attaching knicker elastic and hand sewing (slip stitch).
Attaching knicker elastic can be a bit tricky the first time so to help you along I've included a step by step guide on my blog www.themakersjournal.blogspot.com, click on HOW TO and scroll down to the tutorial you require.
