Item details

As featured in Simple Crochet magazine Issue 33! Item listed is an instant digital download of a pdf file with instructions to make the lovely blanket pictured, not the blanket itself.

The Modern Bohemian Blanket was inspired by vintage Turkish kilim rugs and Native American tribal designs. It's easy to make it yours and play with color combinations to suit your style.

This is an intermediate pattern and includes a photo tutorial. Pattern is written in US terms and includes explanations of all stitches and abbreviations. US and metric measurements given.

The pattern makes a single or twin bed sized blanket. Finished dimensions are about 58 by 82 inches (147.5 by 208cm) not including fringe when using worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm hook. This pattern can also be used to make a beautiful rug!

Pattern pdf includes:
• more than 30 detailed color photos including photos of techniques
• yardage requirements for each color as well as for the whole blanket
• yarn recommendations including color descriptions and a recommended brand
• instructions for a border and fringe variations
• color charts for fast reference

As soon as your payment is approved, you will receive a link to download the pattern pdf file. If you do not see the link to the pattern in the "Your Purchases" section under Your Account, please let me know and I will email you the file. Due to the nature of patterns, no returns or refunds will be accepted.

You can feel good about purchasing this pattern because $4.60 of your $5 U.S. dollars goes directly from Etsy into the bank account of the grassroots non-profit Kentucky Home Birth Coalition (KHBC). The other 40 cents goes to Etsy. Thank you, Etsy!

KHBC is a non-profit organization of mothers, families, midwives, and other community members dedicated to licensing Certified Professional Midwives in the state of Kentucky.

Currently, the state prohibits these midwives from practicing despite the extensive evidence of their success in birth outcomes. Certified Professional Midwives are nationally credentialed and licensed in 28 other states. Your purchase will help KHBC hire a lobbyist for the 2018 Kentucky legislative session to change the outdated laws and improve access to qualified midwives across our beautiful state of Kentucky.

Please feel free to sell your finished items made with this pattern as long as you credit

Really nice pattern! Took a few tries before I got it right, a few more pictures would be helpful but was fine when I got the hang of it!
