Difficulty: Intermediate *This blanket was previously listed as beginner/ intermediate*
Need to know the following: single crochet (sc) double crochet (dc) chain (ch) half double crochet (hdc) Slip stitch
You are purchasing a beach inspired blanket pattern. The instructions allow you to create a blanket any size you wish. Because of this factor, this pattern is considered to be intermediate. The crocheter has to make decisions about how long and wide the blanket will be as well as its sections ( water and sand.)
The purpose of creating a pattern as such is to allow for some creative leeway for the crocheter. If you desire an entire blanket with just water, you can do that. If you want only two rows of sand, you can do that as well. Make it your own and make it one of a kind!
When you are purchasing this pattern, you are also purchasing my support. If there are any questions or comments about the pattern, I will do whatever is necessary to help explain. I want you to succeed in your project. Enjoy!

I just got started on this last week. The only thing about the instructions that I didn't like is "miss 1 sc" isn't the term I'm used to seeing, but rather "skip 1 sc." After some practice though, we were off to the races. I couldn't find some of the yarn suggested in the pattern, so had to make due picking out my own. I deducted one star just because I think the pattern could use an update for the yarn for those of us who aren't as creative/are apprehensive about messing up. However, this blanket is going to be so beautiful and I can't wait to see it finished! I am making it throw sized, and am very thankful for the suggestions in the pattern. Another update that could be helpful would be how much yarn is necessary for the baby vs. throw size (if there's any additional needed).
