Item details

This wonderful skirt, blouse, and jacket pattern ensemble was designed by Bill Haire, for Friedricks Sport, and offered in the Vogue American Designer series. This is pattern 2766, size 8.

The skirt is slightly flared, mid-knee length, with a few pleats, and the jacket has a folded standing collar, buttonhole pockets, shoulder pads, and slight puffing of the sleeves. The blouse has a standing collar with a tie front, side front seaming, button closure, and a raglan design to the sleeves with button cuffs.

Size 8 is:
Bust: 31 1/2
Waist: 24
Hip: 33 1/2
Back Waist: 15 3/4

This pattern is Uncut. The envelope was split down the side at one time and taped shut, but the tape has failed with age. Overall, it's in excellent condition!

I will use either USPS or UPS to ship your order (UPS is mainly used for very large items, if it will save money for the buyer). If you purchase multiple items that can be shipped together, I combine your shipping charges and refund overpayment on shipping if it is more than $2 over.

Due to Paypal's advice and policies, I only ship items to addresses given to Paypal. This helps to protect you from fraud or identity theft and reduces my liability. If you are buying an item as a gift, please order with enough time to get the item to the recipient after you receive it.

I ship after payment has been received. All items are packed with utmost care. I add tracking to my orders to ensure that you got them. If you want insurance on an item I have not specified as being insured, please convo me before ordering to have that added to the cost. Postal insurance gives you recourse for getting your money back on the item if it gets broken in the mail.

I try to ship the same day you order or the next available day (weekend and holiday post office closures may cause a delay in shipment). There may also be delays if your order requires special packaging that I don't already have on hand (although I try not to ever let that happen).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: If you live outside the United States, you should know that some countries' customs rules* will require special paperwork, etc. which could cause delays. Please note that any customs fees, tariffs, or duties that your country may require are your responsibility and will be in addition to the cost of your item and the shipping amount. I will not mark a customs form with "gift" or undervalue it, because this could get me in trouble with the law. If you are concerned about these extra fees, contact me before you buy so I can try to look into your particular case for you.

*In some cases I may not be able to sell you my merchandise due to customs laws in your country; for instance, it is illegal to import silk scarves to Italy. If in doubt, convo me before purchasing so I can check this for you.


I accept transactions through PayPal and the Etsy credit card checkout system. I can accept eChecks through Paypal, but please note that I don't ship until the payment has been completely processed and cleared. I can also accept credit card payments through Paypal. Just select the credit card option at the bottom of the page when you get to PayPal during the checkout process. I will never see your credit card information--it is all handled through PayPal. If you are having difficulties with checkout, I can reserve an item for you for up to 3 days while you get things straightened out. After those 3 days, if for any reason payment has not been completed, I reserve the right to cancel any transaction, not ship the item, and re-list it in my shop.

***The Oklahoma State Sales Tax rate of 4.5% is automatically applied to all transactions for purchases made by Oklahoma residents, as of 12 am EST, August 26, 2010. Returns & exchanges

I hope that you will be satisfied with your purchase and have tried to give you full disclosure about my items so there will be no surprises. In only extremely rare cases, a refund is in order.

Pre-Existing Damage Note:
I have made a good faith effort to note in all listings any pre-existing wear or damage that I have been able to see, and I am assuming that if you order a vintage item you are accepting the damage and wear. Vintage items are rarely perfect and often show signs of wear, such as pin holes in scarves, or staining and scuffing on ceramics and wood. Pre-existing damage or these kinds of vintage condition issues do not qualify a purchase for a refund or return, so read the descriptions carefully and look at all the pictures.

Broken Items--Refunds Only for Misrepresented Items:
Merchandise that was grossly misrepresented in the listing (for instance, I said it was red when it was green), qualifies for a refund. Contact me within the first 3 days after you receive your package to claim the refund, described below. NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION; contact me before proceeding to get my okay and let me know to expect it.

In the case of grossly misrepresented items, I refund the original price of the item and any sales taxes charged, ONLY after you have returned the item to me in the condition I sold it in. NOTE: Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are your responsibility and will not be refunded as of 5:00 CST, August 30, 2010.

In all other cases, sales are final, as of 5:00 CST, August 30, 2010.

Special Treatment for Orders:
All items are packed carefully and shipped with proof of delivery service. As stated in my shipping policy, contact me beforehand to add postal insurance to your purchase if I have not already noted that I will add it (it's usually no more than a dollar or two extra). I pack items carefully, but I am not responsible for an item broken after it leaves my hands.

Privacy Notice:
Just so you know, I sell art and vintage items, not customer's personal information. Your privacy is important to me, and I won't be sharing it with others. Also note that I never have access to private banking information and/or credit card numbers of any of my customers; all such information is handled by PayPal and Etsy and I have no control over how that company handles this information.

Custom Orders:
I do custom orders. For best service, please convo me with details about what you want, when you want it, and possibly what your zipcode is. All of this will help me give you an accurate price/shipping quote and tell me how fast I need to work. I am a hard worker and am committed to working overtime if necessary in order to fulfill my obligations to my customer.

If we have discussed a price or custom option on an item, I'll need the green light from you (a reply convo) to know I need to make changes to a listing or mark it as "custom/reserved for (Your Username)." Otherwise I will be led to believe that you have changed your mind or lost interest in the item in question.

I won't take orders with extremely unreasonable deadlines (i.e. "I need 800 of these tomorrow!"). On orders over $25 USD, I may arrange for you to pay half in advance (or the cost of materials), and the rest of the price after I complete the item but before I ship it. On all custom orders, I don't ship until I have received full payment and there have been no disputes with the transaction.

As of October 13, 2013, I will not do gift wrapping on orders. This can delay shipment unnecessarily (while I am trying to ascertain the occasion and the gender of the recipient to pick the right paper). It is also difficult to do, since I have to add extra protective layers to the package to try to keep the wrapping paper from getting dirty or torn. I also may not have the same taste in wrapping paper as you do, and I don't want to complicate things. I prefer to just ship it safely and quickly to you and let you handle that detail.
