Item details

This one of a kind, t-shirt yarn is made from a single, freshly laundered, 100% cotton, upcycled t-shirt. Yarn is precisely cut into equal widths and stretched evenly.

Color patterns on the yarn are created using a small amount of bleach. This process when used on a black t-shirt, creates unique shades of orange, peach and brown. Each ball of t-shirt yarn comes out of this process with its own unique patterning.

There are no seams or knots, just one continuous strip of beautiful, bulky weight, cotton yarn for you to work with.

Yarn is wound into a center pull ball and packaged in a reusable, drawstring bags made from a t-shirt sleeve to keep your yarn, tidy and tangle free while you work with it.

The following skeins are available:
48 yards - 2 skeins
49 yards - 1 skein

I will automatically send the longest length available if only one skein is ordered.

Color: Black & Bleach
Wraps Per Inch: approximately 5-6
Fiber Content: 100% cotton

All of my t-shirt yarn is made by me in my non-smoking home.

Love Kate's T-shirt yarn! I have ordered 3 different colors, each shipped in its own homemade re-usable drawstring t-shirt bag! Great quality and fast shipping. Thanks Kate!
