Pippa is a country or primitive style cloth doll with a painted head, hands and boots which give a wood-like appearance. I have included a face painting map as a guide, or invent your own little girl. The cute, shaped head is sewn on separately and she has wool yarn hair. Her dress is made form a print with contrast borders. Her drawers made from flannelette or homespun. Both items are removable. There are 4 pages of well illustrated instructions that include photos showing the painting stages, and a pattern cutting chart along with a comprehensive materials list. Pippa is an easy girl to make, all you need is a basic knowledge of sewing. I hope you get a lot of pleasure out of my creations.
