****This listing is for a felting tutorial in PDF format. Tutorial will be available for download immediately after the purchase has been processed.****
This is a wet felting tutorial with instructions to make a seamless 3D nuno felted flower with a butterfly from merino wool and printed silk fabrics. The tutorial is more suitable for those with some experience in felt making. If you are a complete beginner I would suggest you start with the simpler nuno felted flower in tutorial below and then progress to the more advanced version of the flower with a silk butterfly.
You will learn how to make 3D felt on a small scale and can build on this experience to move on to larger 3D projects, e.g. hats or bags. I have put a lot of thought and effort into creating the tutorial and I hope you will enjoy the experience and be inspired to design your own 3D pieces.
THE TUTORIAL CONTAINS: Detailed step by step instructions in English with colour photographs. List of materials and tools required.
The flower design and instructions are copyright protected. They may not be copied, distributed or reproduced without my permission. Thank you for your understanding.

Felt has self cleaning properties and does not require frequent washing.
However if required jackets and shawls can be hand washed in a mild detergent or hair shampoo and warm water. Rinse in warm water and remove excess water by gently squeezing in an old towel. Lay out flat on a dry towel and iron on reverse while still wet. Leave to dry.
Dirt can be brushed off hats and bags and then additionally wiped off with a damp cloth or sponge. Any pilling fibres can be carefully shaved off using a disposable razor (on the surface only, do not cut into the felt).
Felt will retain the shape it has dried in, so ensure you leave it to dry in the shape you require.
If you have any questions about caring for your felted item please do not hesitate to contact me.
