There are so many things that are sweet……cookies & milk, kittens and, of course, dresses for little girls who are themselves sweet; most of the time, anyway. I made a little split-skirt outfit like this for my girl when she was little and she loved it. She wore it over fish-net tights. I’m dating both of us with that little bit of information. Time flies. I was going through some old pictures and saw her in that dress. So this is my interpretation of one of my girl’s favorite dresses. This garment is shown sleeveless, with two sleeves and three collars for many variations.
This pattern may not be for the beginner as there are no pictures, only well-written directions and the usual pattern pieces. If you have the assistance of an experienced seamstress, you should be successful.
p.s. Do you think the kittens ever got milk in their saucer?
