Item details

One day my daughter and I were joking around. She kept trying to give me a hug and I kept pushing her away. Ever since then she has been calling me a prickly cactus. That is what inspired me to crochet a cactus. Once I had made the cactus and it's little pot, I couldn't figure out how to make the needles. It occurred to me to use my own pins and needles and use the cactus as a pin cushion. Also, my thumb isn't always a green one and this is a plant I'm guaranteed not to kill.

This crochet cactus pincushion is 5 inches tall. The cactus itself is 3 inches tall and 7 inches around and the terracotta colored pot is 3 inches wide, 1 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches around. This happy little cactus pin cushion will sit nicely on your desk is a great size to hold all of your pins and needles.

Sorry, pins and needles are not included.

All items in my shop are crocheted with love in a smoke-free, but pet friendly home.

Unless otherwise noted, items are machine washable on cool or warm setting. Tumble dry- low heat. Dry to 50-70% complete than lay flat to finish drying.

If you are interested in a different color or larger quantities, send me a convo and we can work together!

I am a crocheter, not a photographer. While I do my best to accurately represent the colors of an item in my photos, your item may appear a slightly different color compared to the pictures.

I've been looking for a cactus themed crochet pattern for some time now and I'm delighted to have found this! It's adorable and functional and I can't wait to make it. Files downloaded with no trouble and instructions are clear. Very happy with my purchase.

Unless otherwise stated within the product description, all items in my shop are machine washable on cool or warm setting. Tumble dry- low heat. Dry to 50-70% complete than lay flat to finish drying.

All items are made in a smoke free home. We recently added a dog to our family. While she is not permitted in my office, she does reside in the house. I do my best to keep bits of her fur off of my items, but please keep this in mind when ordering.

I love being creative and many of the items in my shop are my own design, but sometimes others have created patterns that I just resist making. Credit is given where it is due.

I take great pride in my work. I ask that you do not redistribute or sell patterns or modify them in any way to claim as you own. Please feel free to make as many items as you wish from my patterns to sell at craft fairs, on your own personal website or on marketplace websites, such as Etsy. I would appreciate a link to my shop in your listing,
