Original 60's "Sirdar" knitting pattern - His and Her Sweater - 34"/36" and 40"/42" two sizes. #2192.
This is an original 1960's knitting pattern. Issued from the "Sirdar" Knitting Bureau and contains the written instructions on how to make this delightful His and Her Sweater that features a geometric pattern border.
A choice of two sizes : 34"/36" bust or 40"/42" chest. Pattern #2192.
The yarns suggested for this particular pattern are "Sirdar Double Knitting Wool" or "Sirdar Double Crepe Wool" or "Sirdar Super Nylon Double Knitting".
As these were available in the 1960's it may well be necessary to find an equivalent yarn that knits up to the correct tension explained in the pattern instructions.
The pattern is complete. Has some indication of use over the years.
The internal central fold has been neatly reinforced with invisible tape.
This pattern will be despatched to you in a plastic sleeve for optimum protection.
