Offered for sale is a PDF copy of a knitting pattern for smart jumper, classical in its simplicity (according to the pattern). The pattern was produced by Bestway and is pattern number 608, produced in the early 1940's, during WW2.
This is a neat little pattern, worked mostly in rib, with a smart bobble pattern detail on each side. Instructions are given for both short and long sleeves.
Worked entirely on size 11 needles, the jumper will best fit a 33"-35" bust. Due to the simple pattern, it should be fairly easy to re-size. The original was worked in 3 ply, but this will work just as well in a modern good quality 4 ply, but always do a tension square first.
The pattern has been reproduced in high resolution and has been enlarged to A4 size, so when you print the it, all the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
The listing is for the PDF pattern ONLY, NOT the original pattern, and NOT the finished garment. The pattern is available as a download, which can be found in the Downloads section of your Etsy account. If you have any problems opening it, email me, and I can always email you a PDF copy.
This is a vintage pattern, over 70 years old, and is out of copyright, and in the public domain.
