Item details

Knit your own boutique cowl from this kit of a gorgeous blue color way of wool and other fibers.

This kit contains wool/mohair yarn, my own FUSION Yarn and my own pattern to knit the pictured cowl.

The cowl is one size. To complete the kit you will need a Size 9, sixteen inch circular needle, a tapestry needle and one stitch marker.

FUSION Yarn is Buttermilk Cottage's own boutique yarn and is a combination of a dozen or more different yarns, resulting in a blended yarn of unique colors and textures. And, SO much fun to knit!

This color way is a rich mix of rich blues, with touches of vivid green. I have also included an eyelash yarn for more texture and some metallic for a bit of bling! Fibers included in this yarn are wool, mohair, cotton, rayon, metallic, ribbon and eyelash.

The yarn pictured in this listing is the yarn you will receive. In addition to the rolled ball of FUSION Yarn, you will also receive the coordinating solid ball of blue, which is a blended yarn of 90% wool and 20% mohair. The cowl pictured is representative of the color way.

All my FUSION Yarn is created by me. It is made of a collection of a dozen or more different yarns. These yarns are cut into specific lengths and then hand tied together, creating a finished yarn for knitting, crocheting, weaving or your own particular fiber art project.

A note about FUSION Yarn - Because the process of making FUSION Yarn is to tie many different yarns together, it does have numerous knots. Depending upon your desired results, "tails" will need to be woven in or left as embellishments for your finished look.

Dry cleaning is recommended.

I make every effort to ship the same or next day that a purchase is made. Of course, custom orders take extra time and I'll give you an estimate of shipping date if we are arranging a custom sale. I ship via USPS, using 1st Class, Priority and Parcel Post, depending upon the weight of your shipment. If you are in a rush I will be happy to use an alternate method of shipping at your expense.

International Customers--please be aware that any VAT, custom or duty fees imposed by your country are your responsibility to pay. If you prefer not to pay this fee I will be happy to cancel your order with a full refund if you notify me before the order is shipped.

Posted shipping costs are estimated. At time of shipment, if I find I have overcharged you, anything over $1.00 will be refunded to you.

I accept Paypal, and direct checkout, using your credit card of choice.

Returns & exchanges

I want you to enjoy your purchase as much as I enjoyed making it. So, if for any reason, you are less than happy, I'll refund your payment, less shipping, once the item is returned to me, in its original condition and within 14 days of you receiving it. Please contact me and we will work it out the details.

Sorry but I cannot refund for digital downloads once you have downloaded the file or for custom items.

Additional policies

If you see something you like, but want it in another color, I can probably accommodate you. Custom orders must be paid in full before I start the item. Just remember, custom knitting and sewing can take a couple of weeks.
