Let me introduce you to Azor, a cute and playful beagle puppy!

While making Azor, you will use some innovative shaping techniques which enable you to crochet this puppy almost seamlessly - only ears need to be sewn to the body! The pattern is dedicated to experienced crafters (and ambitious intermediate crocheters).

A finished puppy is about 16 cm (6 inches) high and 21 cm (8 inches) long.

Skills required:

- crocheting (ch, sc, dc, inc, dec, crocheting through back loops)
- neat color changing
- closing holes
- sewing glass eyes to the toy

Materials needed:

Yarn: YarnArt Jeans (sport yarn): Brown (No 40), White (No 3), Black (No 28)
Hook: 1.75 mm steel hook (American No4)
Tapestry needle
Stuffing: polyfill
Eyes: 2 x 5 mm glass eyes

The pattern will be available immediately after the payment. Just click the link that Etsy will send you.

Average review
This pattern is very easy to read and crochet. I love that the legs and tail are all crocheted from the body out although the first few rows of each is a little difficult! I made 2 for my nephews and plan on making more as the pattern works up quickly. The area around the eyes on my first dog did not turn out as well as the second dog but that may have been how I stuffed it. I also used safety eyes, and that might have changed the look as well for both dogs. Overall an easy to follow pattern, though not one I would use for a beginner.

Fantastic made up beagle pup. Quite difficult techniques to make him up but turns out brilliantly. Will look again for more pattern ideas here in future.
