Advanced level Tutorial
The Viking Queen Necklace design is easily modified to use with multiple style of beads, from basic round beads, to column and lamp work beads. I believe this design lends itself for modification to make a pin or hair barrette.
Previous knowledge required: wrapped loops, bead drops, wire coiling, work hardening wire, making a closed spiral and swirling wire.
Previous experience with weaving and working with multiple wires is a great asset.
The Pendant made in this tutorial measures approximately 1.75” (4.4 cm) x 1.5” (3.75 cm). However the type of beads used will determine the size of your pendant.
Come and spend an afternoon or evening with me and we will take the journey of making this necklace together. Step by step instructions with 23 pages of photos and 63 clearly explained steps.
