FAQs

Monitors display color differently, so the color you see on screen may be different than the actual color of the envelopes. Most descriptions have a Pantone color listed at the bottom of the description that you can reference. If you have a Pantone color you’d like to match, let us know.

Invitations, RSVPs, etc. need to have a little wiggle-room to comfortably move into and out of their envelopes. A general rule of thumb is envelopes should be at least 1/8”-1/4” larger in each direction.

Probably. Most home printers have the capability to print on envelopes. Specialty-finish envelopes, like metallic/shimmer or vellum envelopes, require extra drying time unstacked (sometimes up to 24-hours), so they don’t smear. Yes. Permanent ink works best, both for pens (like ultra-fine Sharpie markers or permanent ink stamp pads). Metallic and vellum envelopes require more drying time than paper – some inks take up to 24 hours to dry completely. Address one envelope, let it sit until you think it is completely dry. Our products are sold as a supply, so they are acquired from other manufacturers. We can get different colors and materials, but the sizes are standard U.S. sizes. Custom orders ship out within seven business days of purchase and are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Let us know right away. If your order hasn’t shipped or hasn’t been taken to the post office yet, we can change the address for you. Once the order has gone to the post office, we’ll figure out the best way to get the product to you or back to us.

The tracking system can be handy, but unfortunately also very inconsistent. Some places and postal workers don't scan items, so we may not see many entries on your package. For international orders, the last entry we see, outside of being scanned “delivered,” is often when it leaves the U.S. or arrives into Customs. Although the tracking system is somewhat unreliable, packages are very rarely lost, in my experience. If your order hasn’t arrived within 4 weeks, let us know. We may know of a Customs backup in your country or whether other orders are delayed as well.
