Item details

At first glance, the hats in this book don't look like anything special, but then it occurred to me that all 8 styles are classics that most crocheters seek to make at least once during their crochet careers. What's more, most of the patterns are sized from child to adult, which makes this a great reference book to have on hand for standard hat styles.

The hat styles in this book include two slouch caps, two beanies, an aviator hat, a summer hat, a ribbed hat, and a newsboy hat. With the exception of the summer hat, these styles would look equally at home on a male or female wearer, and all but three of the hats are sized from child to adult.

While I wasn't terribly impressed at first glance at the designs in this book, I'm now thinking of how often I've had the urge to make a hat for someone, and how it usually ends up being a classic style such as one of these. I think I'll keep this book on hand for just such an occasion.

My handling time is 1-3 business days (though I strive for 1 day). For transit time, USPS has handy interactive maps for you to determine how long your package will take to arrive at your address.

For regular shipping, use this map and code 201 as the originating point:

For Priority shipping, use this map and code 20110:

I regret that I can no longer offer international shipping due to the fact that tracking becomes questionable after the package leaves the US border and I cannot guarantee that your package will arrive safely.

If time is of the essence, please let me know so I can ensure speediness. I aim to get orders out the next business day, but I work from home between homeschooling my daughter, so occasionally an order gets delayed a day or two if life gets in the way and I don't know a rush is needed. If you get in touch with me and place your order before noon Eastern time, I can usually get your order in the mail for you the same day.

Use the links to the maps above to determine transit time to your address and add one day to it (unless you've received confirmation from me that I will ship your package the same day). This is the fastest I can get your package to you. If you happen to live in the DC or Baltimore Metros, shipping time with Priority Mail is 1 day.

For your convenience, I offer both regular (First Class) and Priority Mail shipping options. Priority Mail includes up to $100 of insurance for free, in case your item gets lost in the mail. If you are concerned about your item getting lost, please select Priority Mail. I will not be held responsible for items lost in the mail when shipped with the First Class option; choose First Class shipping at your own risk.

Kits and handmade items are sent via Priority Mail by default.

HANDMADE ORDERS: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. This deposit goes toward covering the cost of my materials. The remaining balance must be paid before the finished item ships. (See also my Refund Policy.)

My home studio is also home to cats, dogs, and various small animals. While the studio itself is a pet-free zone, my products may have been exposed to pet hair and dander in transit to and from the studio. Please keep this in mind if you have pet allergies. I do my best to keep the exposure to a minimum.
