Item details

Do you love vintage china and vintage teacups? I do. This mug is one of my own designs after being inspired by looking at hundreds of vintage teacups and pretty china.

This sweet coffee or tea mug is designed for redwork embroidery in any color you choose. You could also probably use this design into an applique pattern.

This mug design will work in all your projects including pillows, in quilts and quilt blocks, on mug rugs, bags, gift bags, hoop art, framed wall art, tablecloths, napkins, kitchen linens, curtains, aprons, clothing, towels and wall hangings.

This delightful redwork mug design is simple to make using two easy stitches. Stitching instructions are included as are a supply list, general directions and a black and white, full-size line drawing for your pattern. Simply trace the design to your fabric and you're on your way! Tracing directions are included.

Work this redwork mug in any color thread. To see (and order) from a large selection of 12 wt. Sulky embroidery threads (my preference, though typical embroidery floss can also be used), visit http://www.bettyaldermandesigns.com. 12 wt. Sulky threads are wonderful to embroider with using one strand of thread and the thread comes on a spool, eliminating all that tangling!

This pattern would be appropriate for a beginner's project.

This pattern comes to you in a PDF, downloadable pattern format from Betty Alderman Designs.

FINISHED DESIGN MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATELY 6.5" x 6.5".

This pattern is for personal use only. This design may not be copied in any form other than for personal use unless written permission is granted by Betty Alderman Designs. You MAY reduce or enlarge the design for your personal use.

FAQs

I will happily create fabric items from my shop with fabrics you have chosen from a shop on Etsy. That will require communication with me, links to where the fabric is found and the costs of procuring that particular fabric for you, which may also determine a new purchase price for you to buy an item. I hope this makes sense. If not, please convo me.

I have measured items to the best of my ability. For handmade items, tiny variations may occur due to slight variations in seam sizes, etc.

All items purchased from Betty Alderman Designs come wrapped in white tissue paper, wrapped with a red satin ribbon and with an attached business card. A packing slip is enclosed and where possible, your item is shipped in a bubble mailer, enhancing its protection through the mail system. I want you to feel like you are receiving a gift from me. I hope you feel special. That is my intent. Who doesn't like receiving a gift in the mail? All items will be packed well.

My quilt and embroidery patterns are available for wholesale at quiltwoman.com (no minimums). Two of my Rollup patterns are also available from Checker Distributors.

I am happy to offer customized Rollups in a fabric you chose from a shop on Etsy. Additional charges may apply. Please convo me.
