A pretty fabric hexagonal shaped sewing box, which cleverly opens up when you remove the lid.
It is made with a red and contrasting patterned fabric, with applique butterflies on the lid. Inside, each panel is fabric covered and padded with a rigid centre for stability. Each of these inner panels has a pocket. The fabric joining the inner panels is not padded. The lid is also padded with a rigid centre. The fabric is very bright and clean, it does not appear to have had much, if any, use.
The box has been well made by hand: hand sewn stitches are evident around the top and bottom seams. There are a couple of small areas on the lid where the seams are not quite perfect. There is some piping around the edge of the lid which made have been glued on or at least partially re-attached with glue.
All in all, a very usable, and quirky storage box.
If your country is not listed please don't be put off; convo me and I will get you a shipping price.
Please note- shipping heavy and breakable items is costly and has an element of risk. I use Air Mail for International shipping and either Royal Mail or Hermes courier for UK deliveries. I always pack and wrap my items very well to give them the best possible chance of postage survival! I do not try to make money from postage costs but please remember postage is not just the price of the stamp-although I often use recycled packaging to reduce both costs and environmental impact.
