This is just the kind of cosy garment I wear when I want to stay warm in style! The tunic works well with jeans or skirt. It is easy to slip over a formal shirt or a tee. I wear mine a lot year round.
The tunic is knitted in two identical parts and stitched together at the sides. It has loads of stretch and the yarn drapes beautifully so it doesn’t look bulky. The shoulders are shaped to avoid too much fabric there, and the armhole openings are decorated with a braid that it stitched on.
If you want to make this into a dress, I suggest you add length where the cables are plain, before the honeycomb pattern.
The pattern gives instructions for size XS,S,M,L. The model is knitted in Mirasol Miski (Aran weight; 100% Llama; 75m/83yds per 50g).
Shade: Emerald 132, and you need 11:12:12:13 50g skeins It is knitted on needles 5.5mm/US 9.
