These two glamorous companion patterns will light up any room with a touch of ROYAL GLAMOUR
Like many cross stitchers , I have always wanted to stitch a piece of Princess Diana to have it forever close to my heart and to keep her memory and humanitarian work alive as much as we can. This is it! For this piece I have chosen one of her iconic dresses by her favourite designer Catherine Walker. Diana wore this sari-inspired fucsia and purple dress on their Royal tour to Thailand in 1988 to a complete success. I love the exotic flowers she is wearing on her hair which enhance the beauty of her face and dress, in an unique colourful display of her feminity
On the left of the patten I have included a moving quotation from the Princess.
The finished size if this piece on 14 count evenweave is about 23.50cm x 39.50cm (9.21 x 15.50 inches) , The number of stitches are 129 x 217 . If you choose to use a different fabric , your finished size will vary.
On the 9th July 2011 the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the BAFTA “Brits to Watch” dinner in Los Angeles with some of Hollywood's biggest celebrities.
Kate looked stunning as usual on the red carpet, wearing a lilac Alexander McQueen gown with sparkling belt and shoes. Her engagement ring with a blue bead adds a touch romantic love.
On the left of the patten I have included the beautiful and shimmering C&W initials of William and Catherine intertwined.
On the right you can see the ACORN symbol, on top of the “ i “ in Cambridge, since it is part of the coat of arms awarded to the Middleton family prior to Kate´s wedding into the Royal Family. On her wedding day, her earrings also displayed small acorns, a gift from her loving parents.
The finished size if this piece on 14 count evenweave is about 23.04cm x 39.91cm (9.07 x 15.71 inches) , The number of stitches are 127 x 220 . If you choose to use a different fabric , your finished size will vary.
These patterns are actually easy to do, with few half stitches and very few beads. There are large stretches of the same shade of colour which make it fast to stitch. The finished pieces are so glamorous and beautiful that they would make a unique gift to any royalty admirer you may have among your family or dear friends.
All my patterns include a full colour chart with colour symbols, a thread legend ( I use DMC floss colours) a large colour photo of the finished sample for reference and a photo of the embellishment pack needed. I include the charts in two ways: The whole chart in one page (A4) to have a general visión of it and broken up into 4 pages (A4 sheets) to easily stitch it.
This listing is for counted cross stitch pattern, which, when finished by you, will look like the sample shown in the photographs. You are not buying the completed samples, only the patterns. The PDF file of the patterns will be available for instant download once your payment is confirmed.

To be clear, I am NOT selling finished cross stitch projects. You will be purchasing a pattern so that you (or someone who loves you) can make a finished item yourself.
The photos in my listing are only there to give you a clear idea of how the pattern looks when finished. If you ask for a refund because you were expecting a finished item in the mail, it will not be given.
If for any reason you are not happy with the pattern you receive, please let me know how I can fix the problem and I´m sure we can work out a solution.
Q: What fabric do you use for your samples?
All my stitched patterns are stitched on 25 count gridded evenweave, that wahes out easily. But naturally, it can be beautifully stitched on aida as well. Being the only stitcher of my samples, I love gridded fabric since I can stitch really fast and make fewer mistakes.
Q: I don´t cross stitch. Do you sell finished cross stitch patterns?
I´m currently too busy to take request for custom patterns. I may be available to do commissioned design work for magazines, books and publication. If you are interested in publishing my work, please convo me to discuss or email me at
Q: Can I sell a piece I´ve made from Teresa Gil Cross Stitch?
Yes! But only one! More than one is not cool. And if you do sell one, please give credit for the design to Teresa Gil Cross Stitch
