All orders in the USA: USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Upgrade to Priority or Express shipping for an additional charge.
Domestic first class mail averages 2-5 business days transit time, Priority averages 2-3 days & Express is 1-2 days guaranteed.
For Canada: your order will be shipped via USPS First Class International.
International: We ship USPS First Class International, or DHL.   If you require tracking on an international shipment it will be sent via Global Express for an additional $45 charge.   Or we can ship using DHL, a direct courier service, which averages 75-100$ per shipment. We often use DHL for high value items.

   BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENTERING THE CORRECT ADDRESS AT TIME OF PURCHASE  
We ship to the address we are given in checkout.  We cannot be held responsible for shipments that have been misdelivered due to incorrect address entry at checkout.  

Delivery confirmation comes standard on all domestic (within the US) shipments. A shipping confirmation email is automatically sent to domestic buyers via email upon date of shipment(from etsy). Tracking or insurance numbers are provided so you can track your package.

Orders that are shipped and tracked as delivered but the customer is not in possession of the package: the customer must file a claim with their post office. We can initiate the inquiry, but the post office will need confirmation from you. After a period of 30 days the order may be considered lost and a replacement or refund may be discussed at that time.  This is due mainly to the USPS policies regarding insured packages.

International Countries: Tariffs and Custom Taxes:
Many countries apply import taxes and customs fees on all packages over a certain value entering the country. Especially gemstones. Be aware that these customs and duties fees are the sole responsibility of you, the purchaser.

  International First class can vary greatly but typically arrives within 2-4 weeks. International parcels do not have tracking numbers and are unable to be tracked once in transit. International packages *may* take up to 6 weeks depending on the destination and customs.

CUSTOMS:
Customs forms will be filled out with your item description, not a "gift". The customs code we use is for loose gemstones that are cut but not set. Customs fees: Many countries apply import taxes and customs fees on all gemstones over a certain value entering the country. Be aware that these customs and duties fees are the sole responsibility of you, the purchaser.  These are not extra postage fees, we are not responsible for these tariffs. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays of weeks or months. All international orders will have value declared and description on customs forms. We will inform you of any returned packages or information we receive regarding customs. Your post may leave a note for you to retrieve the package at which time the fee will be due, items not collected by you or forbidden for import by private buyers in your country may be destroyed according to the policies of your customs office.

Returns are accepted within 14 days, buyer pays shipping. Refunds are processed within 5 business days of your package returning to us.
Refunds are given upon my receipt of the item. Shipping costs are not refunded.
For your protection, items should be returned via an insured carrier with delivery tracking as I can not be held responsible for lost returns.  

Damages: Items damaged during shipment must be reported within 24 hours so I can contact the shipper, who may want to collect the package from you to confirm the damage directly. Buyer may need to make a report to their post office representative over the phone depending on your countries policies. Some postal companies will not cover damaged goods without hearing from you and retrieving the parcel from your delivery address.

Buyer is responsible for item condition on return shipments, if it is not returned in its original condition, buyer is responsible for any loss in value. After you receive the package, the gem is no longer insured. You are responsible for its care. If it is lost or damaged while in your care, it cannot be refunded. If you are not happy with the gem, you can return it, no questions asked. You must return the item in its original, as shipped condition with all its included items. Gemstones that have been set, recut, are damaged in any way, or weigh differently than when they were sent to you are not eligible for return.

Refunds are generally processed within 5 business days of receiving the gem back, however depending on the method used to make the original payment, your payment method sometimes take 3-5 business days to return the funds to you. Etsy refunds take even longer due to their processor, worldpay. Even after we send the money to etsy, it has been known to take up to 3 weeks to refund the money back to you. Refunds will be given less the return shipping costs. We cannot refund customs fees or any import charges for international parcels.

Items must be returned padded and safely packaged.
Partial refunds are not offered, only returning the item for a refund of the item selling price, shipping costs are not refunded. Shipping to and from international locations outside of North America may exceed the 14 day return window, just message us to let us know that the return is on its way to us within the 14 day window.
