Pure Edible Gold Leaf Sheets

You will receive - 2 books, containing 25 sheets (50 Total) of Pure Gold Leaf - 99.9 - 24 karat. Each sheet is 8cm x 8cm (3.125”x 3.125”). Each sheet has a divider sheet of paper separating it from the next sheet. Each book will cover about 1600 square cm.

This product is particularly useful for gilding borders, frames and many other art projects. It is also completely edible and is used decorating foods of all kinds and placed in fancy drinks.

For each leaf use tweezers and gilding tools to cut into pieces, pick up and place on what you are using it for. Be careful not to use your fingers because it will dissolve quickly, also make sure to place it quickly.
These gold sheets can be heated in an oven up to 325 degrees without affecting the shape or the shine.

This gold leaf must be kept in a dry place. There is no expiration date on this product


Size of each leaf: 3 1/8" x 3 1/8"

Thickness of each leaf: 0.11 ~ 0.12 microns

1 Booklet (25 Sheets) covers: 1.69 sq/ft

4 Booklets (100 Sheets) covers: 6.7 sq/ft

20 booklets (500 Sheets ) covers: 33 square feet (without) overlap and waste.

This product is simple to use, it can be placed directly on food or into drinks

Basic Gilding Instructions

Transform everyday pieces into amazing works of art using gilding techniques.


Step One
Apply Acrylic Bole as a base-coat (sealer) to your piece and let it dry for 4 hours or more.

Step Two
Apply Size and wait at least 15-30 minutes before applying gold leaf.

Step Three
Apply gold leaf with a brush and then gently remove the backing paper.

Step Four
Apply 2-3 coats of Shellac (sealer) allowing 1 hour drying time between coats.

Step Five
Brush Antique Patina over the whole piece and wipe off excess with soft cloth until you have your desired finished look.
