This set of four ceramic buttons is handmade from white earthenware clay and kiln fired to 1100C. The buttons are coloured with non-toxic glazes in contrasting shades of green. They measure approximately 1.5cm across.
These buttons will come to you presented on the card shown. Ideal as a finishing touch to any number of projects, to transform a garment, or would make a lovely small gift for a crafter with a love of unusual or handmade supplies.
When applying these buttons to washable items then we recommend turning the item inside out and placing inside a bag for protection when washing in a machine. Hand washing is more suitable for this item.
These buttons can also be made to order. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to request these buttons in customised colours, sizes or quantities.
PLEASE NOTE - All items purchased from 21st December onwards will be posted out after the Christmas break as they will now be unlikely to reach you in time. We wish you a very wonderful Yule, Christmas, Holidays!
All items will be sent out packaged in a way that will protect them as much as possible during transit. For ceramic items the packaging needs to be very sturdy, so this may mean slightly higher packing costs due to the materials and extra weight involved.
We aim to dispatch all items within a maximum of 3 working days from payment being completed. On the rare occasions that we don't manage this, your shipping will be upgraded to 1st class at no extra cost.
Postage to the UK will usually be by Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery for orders over £20 and Royal Mail 2nd class delivery for all orders under £20. Sometimes we may use a courier service if it is more cost effective. All orders will be posted to the address that you have provided.
Please get in touch before purchasing if you would like a faster postal service such as Royal Mail's Special Delivery. I can then add the additional postal cost to the listing to be paid for in the usual way.
Postage to all other destinations will be by Royal Mail Airmail for items under £20. Larger, more expensive items will be sent by Royal Mail's tracked international airmail services. Please see the listings for cost. If there is no price listed for your country then please contact me and I will be happy to provide you with a quote.
***Please note that it can be very difficult sometimes to estimate combined postage rates. If you are ordering several items then I will check and reimburse you if there is a significant difference between what you have paid and the actual cost of packing and shipping. You can also ask for a check on the total shipping fee prior to purchase if you prefer.***
As the buyer, you will be responsible for paying any customs or import taxes or duties applicable in your own country.
If you have any questions about shipping or postal services and fees then please don't hesitate to contact us.
PLEASE NOTE - All UK orders purchased from 20th December 2017 onwards may not reach you in time for the 25th. Orders placed after 22nd may be posted in the New Year. If ordering from overseas, please note that you will need to place your order considerably earlier to receive them in time. We wish you a very wonderful Yule, Christmas, Holidays!
All prices are displayed in UK Pounds.
Payment method is by Paypal or credit/debit card via the Etsy checkout.
Payment must be completed in full before any item will be dispatched.
Unfortunately I do need to reserve the right to cancel any orders where payment is not completed within three working days. If you need a little more time but still intend to purchase then just let me know and we should be able to work something out.

Additional return information
I really want you to be happy with your purchase, so if you wish to cancel your order after receipt, then just let me know within fourteen days. You will need to return the item in the condition you received it with the original packaging, and to take reasonable care to ensure it is not damaged either before or during return transit. You will be required to pay the return postage. Your original payment for the item will be refunded to you after I have received the item back. Please obtain and keep a proof of postage receipt.
Please note that in the case of custom orders that are being made at your request and to your specifications, there is no automatic right to cancel once the order has been accepted and work commenced, so please be sure that you wish to go ahead before ordering.
I hope it will never happen as I carefully check and pack each item before it goes out, but if you were to receive a faulty or damaged item, then please contact me as soon as you receive your order so that we can agree whether I need you to send the item back to me (please don't send it back without postage without contacting me first). In the case of fault or damage I will action either a refund or replacement depending upon your choice and my available stock. Refunds for faulty or damaged goods will include the cost of return postage, Please obtain and keep a proof of postage receipt.
In the case of items such as earrings and hair accessories, I would appreciate it if you would not try these items on if you intend to return them due to hygiene reasons.
Commissions and custom work can be undertaken. Terms and conditions such as deadlines will be discussed and agreed with you before confirming your order. Ceramic pieces can take some time to get through their 2 or sometimes 3 firings, so please allow a couple of months, especially if you are asking for a complex piece or have a specific deadline. My usual turnaround is 4-6 weeks.
I never want to let my customers down, so will always be honest with you about whether your desired time-frame is achievable rather than give you an unrealistic expectation.
Prior to starting work I will create a custom listing for you that you can add to your basket and pay for in the normal way. For more expensive items, payments may be split into two listings so that you pay for the item in advance and the shipping upon completion. Payment by instalments may be possible for some projects, but this is on a discretionary basis.
Once your payment has cleared I will then start making your item. For more complex pieces I will convo you with a photo at key stages to make sure the work is on track as you envisioned it, and to allow you to have input to the creative process as it develops.
Please see information in the Refunds Policy section to be clear about your right to cancel with regard to custom pieces. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
