Because the pin cushion is filled with sand (cleaned and processed), it keeps your pins and needles sharp. Each pincushion is backed with a rubberized gripper strip!
This scrap caddy / thread catcher bag measures about 13 inches in length and has a longer pincushion. The bag is about 7 inches tall. It has a rounded opening about 5 1/2" in diameter and a flat rectangular bottom. There is a handy little 3 1/2" x 4" pocket inside the bag for your seam ripper or small scissors. Notice the cute folded down cuff around the rim of the bag!
The outside fabric is from designer Amy Butler's Lotus Line called Morning Glory. The coordinating liner is also from Amy Butler's Lotus Line and is called Full Moon Dots with cherry red dots on a cream background. Both fabrics are excellent quality 100% cotton fabrics.
