A style so classic it could fit Bunny Watson, played by Katharine Hepburn, in the 1957 film "Desk Set":
Bunny Watson: I don't smoke, I only drink champagne when I'm lucky enough to get it, my hair is naturally natural, I live alone... and so do you.
Richard Sumner: How do you know that?
Bunny Watson: Because you're wearing one brown sock and one black sock.
Forties skirt or jumper dress, features in-seam pockets. Jumper has a square neckline front and back, and dart shaping at waist and bustline. The skirt is gathered at front and back.
Pattern envelope shows a few small tears at outside edges. Pattern is uncut in factory folds. Instruction sheet and pattern are yellowed from age.
Each sewing pattern ships in an acid-free, buffered envelope with an envelope sling to protect the contents and make them easy to remove. A color photocopy of the front of the pattern envelope is affixed to the front of the envelope with archival acid-free PVA.
