For the nine years I have been selling books, music and ephemera online I have used Australia Post exclusively. Many items such as print adverts, craft patterns and light books, CDs and cassettes qualify at the large letter rate. The Australia Post 500g satchels fit a light book, PAL VHS Video or small parcels of items for a flat fee Australia wide. Anything over 500g goes in the Australia Post 3kg satchel or the jumbo 5kg satchels which can fit a large box of items. All items are weighed on digital scales so I can offer correct postage. I am always happy to combine postage for you to keep postage prices down.

I use a combination of new and recycled packing materials, bubblewrap or fluted cardboard with the 500g, 3kg and 5kg satchels or plain Australia Post envelopes for large letter items. All Australia Post satchels come with a tracking number which you can input into Australia Post's website and track your item along the way. If you require Express Post or Signature on Delivery let me know.

If for some reason items are taking longer than expected (given I am in rural Victoria) I will follow up with Australia Post. Sometimes items are 'carded' and waiting for you at your nearest Australia Post centre.

Please be mindful I don't have control over how long Australia Post takes to deliver your item. Some goods can take forever just to go one suburb to another or from town to town and sometimes Australia Post can dazzle with it's speedy delivery. So I rarely promise anything regarding delivery times!

I live out in the sticks and I am not in an Australia Post Express Post zone but if you need something quickly it may still be the fastest option depending upon where you live.

Australia Post charge like wounded bulls for anything over the 500g weight. Often Airmail postage can be twice or more the price of the item itself so I primarily only ship Airmail letter rate items overseas (craft patterns, slim books, audio cassette tapes, music cds, print adverts). Sorry, but I don't offer Seamail as a postage option. If there is something that really takes your eye such as a heavier book do contact me and I can provide an accurate postage quote for Airmail Standard Post to your neck of the woods.

Sadly, there are some countries I don't deliver to and these include Italy, Middle Eastern and South American countries.

I accept Paypal from both overseas and Australian buyers and Direct Bank Deposit (Australian buyers only) as payment options. My Commonwealth Bank details are BSB -063824 ACCT NO - 10083298.

Returns & exchanges

All books are checked thoroughly before listing. All CDs, cassette tapes and Pal VHS Videos are tested before listing. Books are used and many are over 100 years old so may have a variety of flaws but I try to be honest with descriptions and do not sell anything I wouldn't want to buy for myself. I do my best but oversights happen.

I offer a full refund on items if they are seriously not as described. If I have made a right doozy in a description I will refund the cost of the item plus original postage upon its return to me in the condition in which it was sent. However, I don't refund for a change of mind.

Additional policies

I have a vast collection of books and music items so if there is something you've been after and haven't found I may just have it, so message me with your requests.
