American Beautyberry is a deciduous shrub grown for it's bright purple berries in fall. It's berries are great for birds. They are tightly clustered and can remain on the stem well into winter, if the birds don't get them first. Grows best in part shade and well drained soil. Requires average water once established and we give ours 10-10-10 granular fertilizer in spring and fall with great results. Hardy in zones 5-8.
I will ship a starter plug that is growing in a 3" container. The plants are 5-6" tall now. It will be wrapped in paper and plastic and packaged carefully for safe travel.
We ship our plants Monday - Wednesday following cleared payment. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks so much for looking and have a Happy Day from Arborfield~

Starter plug came in good shape, however the species sold is not clear. Early Amethyst is not Callicarpa americana, but a non-native variety. Could you confirm which was sold to me? Thank you

I am so pleased. The shrub is beautiful.
Fast shipping and careful packaging.
Because plants are a perishable item, we only ship Monday through Wednesday USPS Priority 2-3 day, following cleared payment. Plants are normally pulled for packing the next day following your order. All orders placed after 5:00 on Tuesday will be shipped out with the next week's orders the following Monday. This insures that your plant doesn't get left in the Post Office for a long period drying out. Thanks so much!!
