I have lots of wood to reclaim and I can't make stuff with all of it-- I would like to give it to the masses. I find wood from demolitions, dumpsters and construction waste, in and around New York City. The origin of these pieces is Bushwick, Brooklyn.
This is a USPS Medium flat-rate box containing seven long chunks of wood. These pieces are completely unfinished! Please create a custom order if you would like any sanding or edging done to these pieces.
Each piece is about 13.5" long and about 2x3 (1-1/2" x 2-1/2") wide.
This box contains 7 pieces of a redder wood (fir). Wood is of varying ages (we estimate 50-100 years since it was cut) but all of it is from reclaimed lumber. Some of it may have holes or uneven cuts, and may be splintered or cracked. Please use caution when working with these old and dry materials.
Please see photos for detail.
Examples of finished products with this type of wood can be seen in my "butcher block style" tables elsewhere in my shop.
Nice pieces, just as described, and super-quick shipping :-)

It's wood! It's reclaimed! I love it.
Basically I just ordered 7 pieces of reclaimed wood for a pendant light chandelier I am making. The package was delivered quickly, in under 4 days, packaged well. All the pieces are evenly cut, interesting and perfect for what I need!
Most of our stuff will ship USPS unless stated otherwise. International buyers are welcome but we will need to create a custom order for you, if we have not already calculated shipping for the item. You are responsible for any VAT or tariffs in those cases.
We only accept direct and Paypal payments through Etsy. We may consider accepting Bitcoin if that's your thing, send us a message. No checks.
Returns & exchanges
Finished items may be returned for a refund minus the cost of shipping, if they are in good condition.
Raw materials generally aren't worth sending back.
We may issue refunds for shipping discounts at our discretion.
See something you like, but not sure it's the right quantity or size? Shoot us a message. We have lots of material we haven't posted on Etsy that we can custom cut and get you a quote for.
Reclaimed wood products are mostly recovered from places that we had no control over them. For some woods we do arsenic testing but otherwise it is impossible to test for the various contaminants that wood might have encountered in its lifetime. As always, please protect your eyes and do not breathe the dust when working with these materials. Unless specifically mentioned in the listing, the wood is not known to be food safe.
Some of our rougher materials may also have jagged edges or splinters. Please use caution when handling them, or send us a request to smooth them out at an additional cost.
