Intermediate level Pokemon blanket pattern by popular request. Pdf file is the download format. To do this pattern successfully, you must know how to single crochet, change colors in single crochet, and double crochet. There are many YouTube videos that can help you learn this if you do not know. My pattern does not instruct how to do these stitches.

End product should look like the photo attached and contains:
Bulbasaur
Charmander
Squirtle
Jigglypuff
Caterpie
Vulpix
Pikachu
Oddish
Meowth
Jolteon
Diglett
Koffing
Horsea
Snorlax
Poliwag
Cubone
Bellsprout
Ekans
Venonat
Psyduck

Imagery is my design inspired by generation 1 Pokemon characters. Actual colors and size may vary slightly due to each person's choice in color and yarn type.

You will need yarn (a minimum list of colors needed is in the pattern), crochet hook in appropriate size for yarn (I use size H or 8 with Red Heart brand) and a large eyed needle.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. How big will this blanket turn out?
A. It depends on each person's tension, yarn type, and crochet hook. Also on how big of a border you choose to make. However, the blanket in the photo is roughly 4'6" x 5'6".

Q. What size hook or yarn do you use?
A. I typically use Red Heart yarn, with a size 8 (or "H") crochet hook. That is what I used in the blanket in the photo.

Q. How big is each individual square?
A. It also depends on the yarn you choose to use, the hook size and each person's tension. However, my squares using Red Heart Yarn and size 8 ("H") hook turn out to be roughly 12" x 12" each.

FAQs

Q: Can you copy this other artists work? A: I get asked this question a lot whether it's something somebody saw on Pinterest or another shop here on Etsy. It's a very dishonest and unsettling thing, to copy somebody else's work. The short answer, is I can do it, I don't like doing it, so I won't do it. Even if I were to have permission, the truth is I have too many different pattern ideas of my own and too little time to create them. I would rather continue to slowly create my own designs to share here at my shop. I understand the frustration of seeing something you like and not knowing how to get it, but I would suggest trying to reach out to the original artist.
