Item details

Moon & Stars Watermelon is named for its patterned rind. It's midnight black with golden spangles and one large, lunar spot. It's been a beloved heirloom forever.

YELLOW Moon & Stars adds another surprise when it's sliced open. Zowie! The flesh is bright yellow, sweet and delicious. This rare variety is a Russian heirloom from 1910, not some GMO tweak. It's great for farmers' markets.

Fruits are elongated instead of round and can grow up to 30 pounds. Yellow Moon & Stars is fairly drought tolerant. 95 days.

10 seeds

Amazing! Still growing them, but they were packaged perfectly, and gave me a quick rundown on how they are not like a pocket you'd buy at the store! I had to do a little research, but it was well worth it. Can't wait to have something different in my garden!
