Baby and sleeper are knit complete all in one piece and stuffed as you go. Starting at the neck with provisional cast-on the head is knit first and face detail embroidered on. The stitches at neck are picked up and the rest of the doll is knit top-down, in-the-round. The hair & flower are knit separately. Optional collar is embroidered
Intermediate level: uses Provisional cast-on, Kitchener Stitch, knitting-in-round (perfect for magic loop), duplicate stitch
Materials: face & hands - 65 yds sport weight yarn; sleeper - 100 yds sport weight yarn; trim - 15 yds sport weight yarn; hair - 5 yds sport weight yarn; eyes and mouth - 1 yd each sport weight yarn
NOTE: If you want to use a heavier or lighter yarn go down in needle size from recommended size on the yarn band to get a tighter knit fabric, keeps the stuffing from showing. Your toy will be larger or smaller.
At gauge 26sts and 36 rows to 4” she will be 12” tall
