Item details

This is a pair of hand carved Japanese chicken or rooster shape beads. They are like miniature ojime beads but flat on the bottom so that they can sit upright for display.

The tiny fellows are detailed with textured feathers and wattles. One has a more distinct comb than the other. On the underside, one can see their chickeny feet.

They are made of a natural bone-like material.

Bead holes run vertically.

Perfect for earrings. Or for the collector of miniatures.

Measurements: they are quite small. One is a mere 11mm (7/16”) high while the second is a smidge taller at 12mm (almost 1/2”)

Excellent condition.

Returns & exchanges

Generally, all sales are considered final.

Please read the description, examine the photos, and ask any questions beforehand.

Of course, if I made a mistake in the description or inadvertently left something out I will accept returns and refund the purchase price including the original shipping (return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.) I must know of the need to return an item within 3 days of buyer's receipt of goods.

There are no refunds on partial layaway payments.

Additional policies

I am always happy to do a layaway.

I'm fairly flexible about the number of months involved.

Typically, my layaways have been 1/3 of the total paid over 3 months with payment due on about the same day each month. A 4 month plan is also feasible with a quarter paid each month.

You are welcome to pay in the manner that best suits you. I can easily invoice you monthly through PayPal or you can mail the payments.

My only request is that if paying by check or money order, you let me know when you have mailed payment.

There are no refunds on partial layaway payments.
