Antique Set Sewing Notions German Thread Holder Reise-Necessaire Zebra Animal Form Measuring Tape and Turned Wood Sock Darner REDUCED
I put this little set of sewing notions together myself! To me, they seemed like they belonged! I will let you be the judge of that! First is a vintage wood sock darner-appears to be maple (cannot swear to that) two piece turned wood, nice and clean & sturdy. Second is a vintage German stuffed animal Zebra that has a tag which reads: Pull My Tail-and his tail is a measuring tape. He is old. Appears to have some repair stitches and some age related discoloration, but otherwise, is in good working condition. And third is an Antique Reise-Necessaire(No. 1896) wooden sewing thread holder, also from Germany. This piece looks to be the oldest and has age related wear, but also in good sturdy condition. Barrel opens to reveal thread holder and cap comes off to hold needles. Very clever little piece! Please look at photos closely and zoom in. Set is AS IS in Vintage Antique Condition.
