Item details

Working on English Paper Piecing and want to fussy cut your fabric? I can help! The see through acrylic template will help you cut out your shapes with ease! Also works fantastically for lining up embroidery on finished EPP as well!

How to use the fussy cutter: Line up your design in the inner area of the shape as desired. Your finished piece will be the same size as the inner line. There is a .375" border added so you have enough fabric to fold over and stitch. Use the rotary cutter to cut along the outside of the shape and voilà, a perfect cut out.

How I measure my shapes: The number refers to one flat edge of the finished piece. So, for a hexagon that is 2 inches on each edge when finished, you need a 2 inch hexagon template.

Shapes (If I don't have what you need listed, check with me, I can probably make it!)
- Hexagon
- Diamond (60 degree or 45 degree, as measured the the pointy ends)
- Octagon
- Pentagon
- Square
- Jewel (measurement from the short sides)

The templates are clear acrylic, with "Beadeux" and the size marked along an edge, so there is nothing in the finished view-able / fabric lining up space. Clear is crystal clear, so if you are afraid you'll loose the template on your cutting table, I can also make them in green or blue fluorescent transparent acrylic, as shown in the last photo. If you don't want clear, just put your preference in "notes to seller"

Templates are photographed with the protective paper backing in place - taking pictures of clear acrylic isn't easy! When you get it home, just peel it off and you are ready to go.

Returns & exchanges

Beadeux return policy is that items can be returned up to 2 months after purchase, but they must be in the condition which sent (ie, not cut in the case of beads strands, chain or wire)

Additional policies

Wire comes coiled and secured with painters tape, tape that is designed not to leave residue. It takes a little longer, but I pack that way because I prefer it. It drives me nuts to get wire and the ends are all bent funny because it has been wrapped around itself. If you prefer your wire to come wrapped around itself and tapeless, let me know :)

With that said, enjoy!
