A boxed set of French vintage embroidery fabric stamps, with patterns

A boxed set of embroidery fabric stamps including roller with built-in ink pad, 8 rubber stamps mounted on wood, and large pattern sheet showing all the patterns that could be purchased for use with the set.

Six of the blocks are for border swag patterns. There are two small letter blocks. These stamps were used to print a pattern on linens before embroidering them.

In their original maroon cardboard box, with original pattern sheet. It states, in French: "... this device is so simple to use that a child of 8 or 10 can draw (patterns) as well as an adult".

Excellent condition, pattern sheet intact.
