*** Blue tigers eye also available***
In this this "Do It Yourself" jewellery kit, you will receive all of the materials you will need to create a beautiful wire wrapped adjustable bangle. (NO TOOLS INCLUDED)
The kit includes detailed, step by step instructions, with clear photos for each step. Your tutorial will be sent via email (please make sure your email address is correct on your Etsy account)
By post you will receive the materials needed, to complete one copper bangle.
This tutorial is suitable for beginner to intermediate jewellery makers.
Materials included in your kit:
• A long length of 1mm (18g) soft copper wire
• A long length of 0.4mm (24g) copper wire
• 3x 8mm PINK tigers eye stones
• 2x Bead caps
• 4x copper beads to sit in between the focal stones
You will also receive, a short length of 0.6mm copper wire and a small bead for the extender chain.
I will also include:
a splodge of renaissance wax
A polishing pad
Steel wool (If you have ordered patina)
• Flexible Tape measure to measure your wrist as the amount of 1mm gauge wire will depend on the size of your wrist. Times your wrist measurement by 2, to give you the wire length needed.
(If you don't have a tape measure you can use a piece of paper and a ruler.)
• Wire cutters
• Round nose pliers
• Snipe/chain nose pliers
• Something cylindrical to shape your bangle around (a fizzy drink can or something similar). This doesn’t have to be exactly the size of your wrist, it is only to ensure you get a rounded shape. You can always make it bigger or smaller by gently manipulating in or out.
• Metal file
Nice to have:
• Chasing Hammer and steel block
• 6 step bail making pliers
• Blow torch
