Item details

A Steampunk Garage original design!

(Colors options will be updated based on availability - I HIGHLY recommend mixing colors for some really fun effects! Especially if you mix the stainless and titanium like in the last picture shown*)

Level: ADVANCED. Requires using the tips of your pliers for part of the assembly in some VERY tight spaces.

Each kit includes enough rings to make a single Stan Star 6 using 18swg hand-cut titanium with a stainless steel core. 18-inch solid 316 marine-grade stainless steel chains (clasp included) are available as well. Tutorial is included and will be emailed to you once we assemble and mail out your kit - so don't forget to check your spam folder!

This piece is tension set and cannot be made using softer metals. Anything softer than stainless or titanium will stretch out and become loose over a couple months.

Note: This piece requires extremely precise ring sizes! While the ring sizes are listed in the tutorial, we have thoroughly tested rings for these kits down to the .01 AR from various sources. Stan and Jen test each new batch thoroughly to ensure your SS6 will come out how it's supposed to. If you decide to re-order rings from another source, your Stan Star may come out differently even if you order the ring sizes listed.

The most difficult chainmaille piece I've done. Instructions were perfect. The color does scratch so you need to be more careful. If color is not important go with stainless so you don't have to worry about it.

I'd see lots of folks posting their stars, so I decided it was time to give it a try! The tutorial is clearly written, and I'm excited to assemble the kit!
