Oddly enough I don't know the official name for these little do dad's...thinga ma who's...I was thinking cash suspenders, cash springs, cash clutches, spring loaded money fastener....I simply have no idea...But there is one thing I do know, they are made very well! There are 4 of them all together. Only 2 have the round stoppers that attach to the wooden drawer and secure them into place. The others were worn out or not removable. I extracted them from a National Cash Register that was from the 1960's. i have the original springs that go with them and some of the brackets or rings that held the brackets stationary are still available with them. The plastic coating is in excellent vintage condition. 100% still in tact with no cracking or deterioration that I can tell. Still have a lot of life left in them!
