The price includes Four (4) "Emerald" Southern Highbush Blueberry Plants with USPS Priority Shipping. These are 2 inch rooted plants shipped in 2 inch tray pots and are 3-6 inches tall.
These are great Blueberry Plants for Southern and Central States. Low chill 100-200 hours required which makes it great early to late season producer. The berries are large to very large, one of the largest! The berries are mild, sweet, good tasting. The advantage of Emerald is that is considered one of best varieties, it is the most planted for commercial growers. It is perfect for homeowner because of it's bushy like plant structure making a great landscaping plant. It is a slower grower, but it is a heavy producer giving your berries for at least six weeks. It is more disease resistant than other varieties and great for Organic Growing along with Farthing.
How to Grow
Most all edible plants grow well in Full Sun but a little shade won’t hurt. Blueberry Plants need to be planted in acidic soil/low pH 5.5-6.4. I recommend 60%Pine Mulch/40% Peat. As your plant gets bigger you can change the ratio to more Pine Mulch up to 100%. Keep your soil moist and when it is about dried out water again. Make sure you find a fertilizer and follow guidelines. I use two organic fertilizers: Liquid 2-3-2 on starter plants in four inch pots or less and move to Granular two month slow release Nature Safe 10-2-8.
Wonderful seller, good healthy seedlings, well packaged. Immediate response to my questions and good advise on better growth of a plant.
Plants are packaged very well, enough water, in original seedling container with the perfect label.
Great service and wonderful plants. Will buy again!
Thank you Mark!
