Colvin Jeans for Chrysalis Dolls Project Description This pattern will help you create jeans for your 14” Kish Chrysalis dolls. The jeans are detailed, with realistic front and back pockets (even a key pocket). There are instructions for making a belt and belt loops.
You can leave your jeans as dark or solid denim, but I also give instructions for sandwashing to create a look like these below.
Unless otherwise noted, seam allowance is 1/4-5/16 inches (7-8 mm).
Supplies • Lightweight stretch denim or twill fabric. • Thread in a coordinating color • Schmitz double needle • Snaps • Hand needle (for sewing on snaps)
Sandwashing Supplies • Pumice stone • Plastic cutting board • Bleach (Please check your denim for color-fastness before bleaching your items!)
Optional Materials • Iron-on nailheads (available from www.dreamtimecreations.com) I use the 2mm size. • Black or brown “pleather” & buckle (1/4 inch size) • Glue gun & glue sticks for finishing belt • Liquid Stitch fabric glue (helps with sewing on pockets & belt loops)
