I ship only within the United Sates and only to the address on the Etsy invoice.

Please allow your ready made purchase up to 3 - 5 business days to go out once payment is received and the funds are confirmed and clear.

Custom orders will be shipped approximately 3 - 4 weeks after payment confirmation or in the time frame we agree upon.

There is no guarantee that any package shipped first class or Priority mail will be delivered by any specific date. The USPS dates are guidelines/estimates and are not guarantees. Priority shipping is available. Please choose your shipping preference at the time of order.

FedEx may be used for shipping. If FedEx is used I will send you the tracking info.

Orders are not considered lost in transit until the following amount of time has passed:
Domestic: 20 days past shipping date
Please convo me if your package has not arrived in a timely manner so I am aware there may be an issue. I will refund only if it exceeds these deadlines and all tracking and contacting of the Post Offices involved have been made by the buyer. I will assist whenever possible after receiving information from the buyer.

If an item is non-deliverable and returned to me, I will try to contact the buyer via Etsy convo to reconfirm shipping information. Item will be re-shipped to the address with applicable shipping charges to customer. If shipping error was due to my error I will cover the cost to re-ship. If I am unable to make contact with the customer after 10 business days I will cancel the sale and refund the purchase price, less the shipping cost.

I do not refund shipping as there is more than just the shipping cost involved. There is also handling and packaging supplies to be considered.


Payments

CREDIT / DEBIT CARDS ARE WELCOME - Payment through Etsy Payments is accepted. Etsy Payments is a very secure and easy way to pay. At no time do sellers have access to your information.

Please pay when ordering. This will allow us to begin working on getting your order ready to ship to you. Your item(s) cannot ship until payment is received and funds are cleared.

If the payment is not confirmed within 48 hours and you have not contacted us, the sale will be canceled.

6% Sales Tax for all Virginia Residents will be applied at checkout.


Returns & exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
If you have any questions regarding specific measurements, sizing information or feel unsure, please contact me for more information, prior ordering. I am available to answer any and all questions you may have.

For returns: you must make contact (via the "Contact Seller" button in the shop) within 3 days upon the receipt of your purchase and state the specific concern with the item, if you are seeking to request a return. Please contact me prior to shipping the item to be returned. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Should you decide to return the item, you may ship it back to me within 7 days of receiving it (at your expense). For return shipping please ship via USPS, first class with tracking. Item should be returned in the original packaging (whenever possible), and appropriately packaged so there will be no damage to contents. All pieces of the item (ie. belt, hat, etc.) should be in the package.

If an item is damaged in shipping, please contact me via etsy account convo. A photo of the damaged parcel will be needed to begin the process of damaged claims. The item will need to be returned to complete the refund process.

Each product is thoroughly checked prior to shipping for any damages. All items from KnitWhats will arrive "ready to wear." Products have been rinsed in Eucalan fine fabric wash and shaped (blocked for knit and crochet products) and pre-rinsed for sewing fabrics.

If you are not satisfied with your order, please know that you may contact KnitWhats?. We are always looking to work on solutions to be able to satisfy our customers.

Custom orders are exempt from this return policy.

Custom orders are always welcome. Please contact me so we can discuss either through the Contact Shop Owner button or Request Custom Order Button in the shop.

There may be a charge of up to an additional 15% for a custom order (for orders requiring additional materials).

Custom made and made to order will be shipped approximately 3 - 4 weeks after payment confirmation or in the time frame we agree upon.

All custom orders and made to order are final sale.
