When you do hand embroidery, you learn pretty quickly that organization of threads is very important. This handy case will keep all your threads neatly in place, and super easy to store and transport for stitching on the go.
The ric-rac loops sewn into the upper edge of the holder provide the perfect place to loop hanks and lengths of threads. The paper placards above each section make it easy to label each hank with the brand and color number. Simply write the information in pencil and erase and re-write for the next project. If the paper ever peels off or becomes damaged, it is very easy to replace. Replacement paper strips and instructions for applying them are included with your thread holder.
The white cotton that makes up the inside of the thread case is the perfect backdrop for comparing and sorting threads of all colors. Sturdy cardboard is inserted into the four panels of the holder so that it can be easily propped up on any flat surface, letting gravity untangle your threads for you.
When you are done stitching, and are ready to pack away the project for another day, the holder easily folds into a compact case. A decorative ribbon tie ensures that the case remains closed, with your threads protected, organized, and un-tangled within. Lively cotton prints in red, brown, and bold floral make up the outside of the case.
The case measures 10" tall by 23" wide when fully unfolded. It will easily accommodate up to 20" lengths of embroidery threads, and has 20 loops. When folded the holder measures 5" wide by 10" tall, and 2" deep
All threads and notions are shown for scale and are not included.
